taxidermy
It is defined as the art of dissect animals to preserve them with the appearance of being alive and thus facilitate their exposure, study and conservation.
method: It is proceeded immediately after the death of the animal, to remove the skin. It is done with a scalpel or a very sharp knife, removing the skin from a piece. A cut is made in the back of the animal and so at the end of the work do not see the seams and so do not lose the artistic appeal. The skin is cleaned superficially and a treatment of water and salt is applied, extending the liquid by the face and by the leather. The purpose of salting the skin is to extract the water that is retained in it and form a supersaline medium that makes it impossible to decompose the skin by the microorganisms.
